By accessing this website or using the MurderMaker mobile application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before using our service.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing murdermaker.com or downloading our mobile app, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use our service. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and MurderMaker.
2. The Service
MurderMaker provides AI-generated murder mystery party games for entertainment purposes only. This website (murdermaker.com) serves as a marketing platform. The actual service is provided through our mobile applications for iOS and Android. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service (or any part thereof) at any time with or without notice.
3. User Accounts
You must be 13 years or older to use MurderMaker. Accounts are created exclusively through our mobile app. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account.
4. User Conduct
You agree not to: (a) use the service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any local, state, national, or international law; (b) harass, threaten, or abuse other users; (c) attempt to scrape, spider, or use automated means to access the service; (d) reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the service; (e) impersonate any person or entity; (f) interfere with or disrupt the service or servers.
5. User Content & Ownership
You retain all ownership rights to the story ideas and content you create using MurderMaker. By using our service, you grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to process your content through our AI systems solely to provide the service. We do not claim ownership of your creative content. Generated mysteries are for your personal use only and may not be commercially distributed without written permission.
6. Intellectual Property
The MurderMaker name, logo, website design, app interface, and all associated content (excluding user-generated content) are owned by MurderMaker and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our service without express written permission.
7. Payments & Refunds
Story purchases are processed through the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android). All payments are subject to the respective platform's terms and conditions. Refund requests must be made through the platform where the purchase was made (Apple or Google). We do not process payments directly and cannot issue refunds. All sales are final unless required by applicable law.
8. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without cause, including for violations of these Terms of Service. You may delete your account at any time through the app settings. Upon termination, your right to use the service will immediately cease. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution) will survive.
9. Limitation of Liability
MurderMaker is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.
10. Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Germany, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the service shall be resolved in the courts of [Your City, Germany].
